Owner
Mara Concordia, is an Arizona licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Peaceful Spirit Therapeutic Massage Centers. Originally from Chicago, IL, Mara has been in Tucson for twelve years. She graduated from the Desert Institute of the Healing Arts in August of 1996 and opened Peaceful Spirit Therapeutic Massage Centers the very next month! She maintained a very full massage practice for many years. As the business grew, it became necessary for her to step aside from practicing to handle administration full time. Peaceful Spirit is now enjoying their 11th year in business in Tucson. She is proud of the therapists and practitioners who practice here and how they have helped thousands of people to feel more relaxed, reduce or eliminate their pain and change their lives.
Mara regularly appeared on KOLD TV’s morning news "Ask The Expert" Program. She coined her slot as "Wellness Wednesdays". Mara shares her long history with Natural Health Care with clients and the Tucson community because she feels that everyone can lead a happy, healthy and fulfilling life. She feels that we just need to learn the right "tools for the job". She enjoys working with people who have chronic specific conditions and/or physical disabilities, and finds great reward in witnessing the benefits of bodywork, coaching and acupuncture that her clients receive.
Mara has served on the board of directors for the Tucson Zoological Society, where she was a member of the capitol campaign committee and past marketing chair. In addition, she has served on the Arizona state board for Massage Therapy as their chairperson and The Asian Institute of Medical Studies as their treasurer. She has taught Practice Management and Business at the Asian Institute as well as The Desert Institute for the Healing Arts. Prior to massage therapy Mara worked in the credit union industry for eleven years gaining experience in marketing, business development and management. She loves dancing, music and being a mom.
Feel free to schedule a complimentary consultation with Mara to see how "Natural Medicine" can help you. RETURN TO TOP

Jeff pursued massage therapy because he was fortunate enough to have witnessed the benefits himself at a very early age. Growing up with an Osteopath dad and R.N. mom Jeff learned from his family about how people can heal themselves. He then learned personally how to help himself due to his experience with a herniated disc and the sciatic pain that followed. Jeff received his Bachelors from the U of A, and loves baseball, basketball and hockey. He graduated from the Desert Institute of the Healing arts in 2005 and enjoys working with all different kinds of people. He is very effective with deep specific work because he is very detail oriented and because he can empathize with the pain people can experience in the body. He truly wants to see his clients progress and educates them on how to increase and maintain their success. Jeff is available for appointments Thursday-Sunday. RETURN TO TOP

Ultimately, Marc's goal is to help everyone feel better, whatever that may mean to them. He will adjust his techniques and pressure to meet the needs of each client indivdually.
